Yeah, so Mario Kart 8 is pretty damn good. And it looks like it could revive Nintendo's fortunes.
In the U.K, it was second only to Watchdogs. And it's worth bearing in mind that it only had one day to do that, whereas Watchdogs had two. So it's pretty impressive.
But it looks like it should help the Wii U. Wii U sales have increased by 666%, and the game has sold over 1.2 million copies, which makes it the second best selling Mario Kart launch ever.
Also I can confirm that it is indeed amazing and is the best thing ever to have happened to the Wii U.
